Our Story

How it all began

Like many modern couples, we met through a dating app in 2022. There was no expectation of finding the person that we would spend the rest of our lives with this way, but we went on one date to a very mediocre Asian restaurant, and everything felt right. We shared interests and a sense of humor, and our value systems lined up, which made it easy to imagine creating a life together. The hardest part of the relationship was getting our beloved pets Freyja and Tia to tolerate each other. But now, with the addition of the cat we got together, Frig, we all live (mostly) in peace together and are looking forward to whatever adventures life has in store for us.

We'll be having a relatively short ceremony and spend most of the time having fun!

Any semi-formal+ clothing.

Accommodations

The main area of the venue will be air conditioned, and should be quite comfortable. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside; however it will be held inside in the case of inclement weather.

Children

Due to hazards at the venue (small pond), we are obliged by the venue to ensure all children are dilligently watched. Please plan ahead in that regard, and please ensure they have headphones if they will have electronics.

Drinks

An open bar will be provided. As required by the venue, a security guard will be present, please ensure you enjoy the bar responsibly. The bar will include a small selection of mixed drinks, as well as some wine and beer options.

Gifts

If so inclined to give us a gift, we are asking only for money due to our upcoming move. While we certainly appreciate the thought, it will already be a large feat to move with the things we have!
